Penders to Middle Beach - last weekend

 Couldn't get through to Gillards as the lagoon behind overflowed following the rail.  Within a short time it went from being jumpable to impossible.

BVBW Inc Affiliation and Insurance Update

 Dear Bushwalkers Since the Department of Sport and Recreation disbanded the 'Walking for Pleasure' program, members of BVBW have been trying to find the best solution to get us all back walking again. To this end many members have done a lot of research, made many phone calls and we’ve had a few meetings. Following our two meetings at Wolumla Hall we’ve become an incorporated body, Bega Valley Bushwalkers Inc., and have elected a committee.  The committee has been in regular contact and has now decided to recommend to the group that we:   proceed with affiliation with Bushwalking NSW    take the Insurance offered through Bushwalking Australia. (This is a tailored package designed for groups like ours.
